What should you do about condensation in factory workshops? HVLS industrial fans create three-dimensional air circulation to eliminate condensation on steel structures.

In mid-to-late October, northern regions experience an abrupt transition to winter overnight, while southern areas see warm days and cool nights.
Many plant managers walk into the workshop in the morning to find: the floor soaked, workpieces with water stains, moldy edges on packaging boxes, and frequency converters triggering alarms—“Why is it damp again?”
The essence of condensation: when air cools, it releases water.
During the day, at 30°C, the air can hold a significant amount of moisture. At night, the roof, roller shutters, and steel structure cool down rapidly; as the air near these cold surfaces cools, its capacity to hold moisture is exceeded, and condensation forms on the metal surfaces and the goods. This phenomenon has nothing to do with whether a fan is blowing, but everything to do with how quickly the air moves.
Running only the exhaust fan often makes the air even more humid.
The exhaust fan draws air out of the room while cool, moist air from outside flows in, but this does not address temperature stratification. The top remains hot, the bottom stays cold, and the humid air settles entirely at workers’ feet and on the lower shelves. Even if you then add a few small fans, you may create airflow, but the laminar flow remains intact, and the dew point is still not shifted.
What HVLS large fans do: they “spread out” humid air.
The King W.FANS / D.FANS series features a large diameter and low rotational speed:
- Top-side hot air presses down, flattening the temperature difference across the cold surface;
- Moist air from the ground is drawn toward the exhaust vent/ridge vent;
- It feels 5–8°C cooler, yet it won’t make you catch a cold.

An often-overlooked point: temperature–humidity coupling.
After the DAWANG BOX centralized control system is connected to a temperature and humidity sensor, it automatically increases the fan speed by one level when humidity rises, then reduces the speed once drying is complete. With 48 units in the same zone under centralized control, there’s no need for the shift supervisor to climb a ladder to operate the switches. When a fire alarm signal is received, the system immediately shuts down, and the safety logic is integrated within the system as well.
To put it plainly:
Preventing condensation isn’t as simple as buying a dehumidifier; it starts with keeping the air from “sleeping in layers.”
